Biography
Dr. Savannah Lancaster grew up in Little Rock, AR. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Arkansas State University. During her time at Arkansas State, she discovered her passion for working with children and special healthcare needs individuals while also teaching swimming lessons in her spare time. She then moved to Memphis, TN to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Tennessee where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Lancaster continued her education in Pittsburgh, PA where she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, which is ranked in the top 10 of all U.S. Children’s Hospitals! She had the opportunity to work in a Level 1 trauma center during this time which granted her extensive experience in the areas of dental trauma, special healthcare needs, growth and development, pharmacological modalities (including IV and oral sedation), and behavior modification/management. In addition, Dr. Lancaster is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which means she is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist.
If you can ever get her out of the office, you can find Dr. Lancaster outside with her two (very large) bernedoodles - Winston and Walter. She also has a passion for interior design/renovations, skiing, fishing, and spending time visiting family and friends.
