Biography
Dr. Harris earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she also completed a Master’s degree in Biochemistry. During her time at VCU, she developed a virtual reality tool for visualizing the oral microbiome, with the goal of enhancing patient education. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Virginia where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in public health, reflecting her long standing commitment to preventative care and community wellness. With a strong scientific foundation and a deep passion for patient education, Dr. Harris is committed to helping each patient achieve their ideal smile and long-term dental health goals. She has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and enjoys partnering with patients to enhance their smiles in ways that align with their goals. Her practice philosophy centers on a patient-first approach, emphasizing empathy, clear communication, and clinical excellence. She is committed to delivering comprehensive, personalized care in a supportive and welcoming environment. A native of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Dr. Harris was raised on a small farm and brings that same grounded, compassionate perspective to her professional life. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reading, cooking, staying active through fitness, and exploring hiking trails.
